SCAM Presented themselves as an online competition for a DELL laptop through The Warehouse New Zealand. They asked for an entry fee to get our bank card number, took the entry fee then 3 days later took more money. The bank transaction shows as Highgames.Online and the number +44753717396 4691792... which the first part I thought might be a UK phone number, hence my post here. TPS will do nothing as UClaim4Me insist that they received my invitation to call and in any case are only "advising" us of a "service" they offer. It s bad enough coping with Alzheimer s without the apparently legal harassment.

I answered and they said I had worked in a factory and could claim for industrial hearing loss. I have never worked in a factory. Told them to remove me from their database and have now blocked.
Got a call from this number today. Caller spoke very fast and I couldn't catch what she was saying. She hung up on me when I said I hadn't a clue what she was talking ...
Keeps ringing me but only actually rings twice then hangs up. Have lots of ?missed? calls.

I received a call from this number today (14.04.23) - did not pick up phone but they left a message, that there have been "unusual activites/transcation" on my card (not mentioned which one). They asked to press #1 to cancle these transactions or #2 to speak to a member of their support team. COMPLETE SCAM!

Blank call, what is the purpose of this? What profit do they do if they call someone and do not say anything? Testing numbers to built contact lists?

Supposedly a company called Direct Legal, claimed to want to talk to me about compensation for an accident. A quick google search reveals they are a debt collection agency based in Buckley, even though the phone number has a Glasgow area code.
They have a web site that is just crying out for comment and review. The TPS route does not work maybe the web reviews will.
