I?ve just had a call from this number. I get this type of thing every few days from other numbers. Everyone should just stop answering and making 0845 calls, then perhaps then the Telco?s who make money out of this sort of thing may actually do something about scam calls.

They have aquired your mobile number via an old loan application. They say that they have loan application when infact they only have your name and number. if you pay them a fee and then they promise to call you in 48 hours, you will never hear from them again and may block your number - ho and empty your bank account. DO NOT GIVE THEM BANKING DETAILS ESPECIALLY DEBIT CARD DETAILS. INDIAN SCAM, LETS HOPE THEY GET A LARGER EARTH QUAKE IN FUTURE.

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. It s a prank call number, widely reported on other sites. 0870 numbers are premium rate, so don t call it back.

I get several calls a week from this company which I ignore. As it seems they have first names they must be getting this information from phone companies selling lists on. Only my friends, family and phone company know my number AND name.

Claimed to be Legal and General. Washing machine scam looking to renew insurance. Hung up when asked what model of washing machine they were referring to.
