Call center: Indian sounding lady called me and asked for me by name. I asked why she was calling & she said again "Are you Mrs ****?" . I asked who wanted to know. She didn't say. Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. A trace of the number said it was a Vodafone number located in Manchester! #fraudnumber #scamnumber #hsbcscam

Just had the second call today and about the 4th this week. Every time I answer there is a pause and then they ring off. Very odd and hugely annoying
Tax fraud scam. Says there is a tax fraud case opened under your name and to press 1 to be contacted to the officer in charge.
SCAM Called saying she was wondering if I had been involved in a no fault accident. I asked if she was telling me or asking me. And if she was calling from Liverpool. She said "oh, I see" and something about removing me from their lists. Presumably I can look forward to other scammers calling about this fictitious prang over the coming months.

Scam: sent me WhatsApp saying Hi then pretend they mistakenly contacted me. This person went on to attempt to befriend me, going as far as saying we can travel together and they will pay. Obviously the warm up for the scam to come.

Had them call me regardsin PPI claims a few months ago, when paperwork arrived they had not listened to me and all info was wrong so threw it all in the bin, called them up and told them not to contact me again. A South African has just called my mobile - WHERE DID THEY GET MY NUMBER FROM? He tried to follow things up but I simply told him that I was not interested, he waffled on so I put the phone down!
Had a text saying that a parcel had been stopped and we had to log onto a certain web site and pay import duty.
