SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.
Received a text saying a payment had been attempted from a new device on 30/10 T 13 .35 if not you please visit https://security-accountsafetylink I don’t have a Halifax account tried to block but couldn’t so deleted . Why can’t the government do something about this it is so annoying It was a we. Number why can’t EE do something about it as well ????

Darren from PPI called and wanted to know if I had credit cards. I asked to be removed from his listing he then stared saying I was swearing to distract from my request to be removed!
E-mail says from Microsoft security from 'George Morgan' and to call toll free on 02081448004 ASAP as 'We need to talk over the phone'. All suggests either scam or otherwise malevolent. DON'T DO IT

Answered because it showed a mobile number. Same as other reports, caller asked me to confirm that I had been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. I said no, and asked to be removed form the mailing list and not called again. She hung up. Blocked.
