It claimed to be checking about possible fraudulent payments on my account, so it is probably a scam.
Claimed to be from O2 offering a 40% discount on my bill for being a "loyal customer". Did not greet me by my name. When I called her out on that and asked her to drop me an e-mail if she was legit, she hung up.

Spammed 30 odd calls and never left a message. Eventually answered and a girl asked if I was interested in an accounting role. I said yes to see if things were legitimate and she hung up immediately after I answered. Something dodgy, without a doubt.

I’ve just been called from this number claiming to be my credit card fraud check. It mentions two extremely high transactions, not made by me, then to press 1 to authorise or 2 to talk to customer service. I didn’t, I hung up, checked all my cards. Claimed to be from BT and talked about updating the cloud. Suspicious as we don't have anything cloud based with BT.
This is a scam. Automatic woman's voice says your Amazon Prime has expired and to rejoin to pay £95.00 She says to press 1 to rejoin, or 2 for customer services. As I do not use Amazon this made me aware it's a scam and terminated the call and dialled 147 to find this Bournemouth number had registered as the caller.

They called me at the same time as I was expecting a very important call from my company, it looked like they knew I was waiting for something important and I was approached by them. Now I'm afraid I'll get a high phone bill. Watch out for them.
