Rang my answering machine 14h16 Friday 26JUN15; hung up in middle of my outgoing message.
Here we go again! Pre-recorded female American voice: Amazon Prime subscription SCAM. They keep changing the Caller-ID number to evade call blocking. This scam has been going on for months, if not years. When are the authorities going to find out who is behind these calls and take them to court!
SCAM! If I don't press 1 and speak to the advisor I will be taken into the custody. Guy on the other end hung up when I asked me what this is about.
Woman called us (despite being registered with TPS, for what it's worth). She did not identify herself or their company clearly, and fired a barrage of questions at us, despite our refusal to interact with her. She said she could not remove our number from their database as "she hadn't completed her interaction with us, so we'd just receive further calls!". Her tone was extremely aggressive.
This number rings me twice a day on my mobile, I have blocked it but the ring on another 0845 number

Called a 99 year lady for a second time in 4 days stating it was a government call thankfully the lady had her wits about her and intercommed me (scheme manager) to come and take over the call. When I mentioned who I was the caller immediately hung up

SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me

I am being called at least once a day by this number. Today it was twice. i am registered with the TPS service so assumed this kind of pestering would not happen anymore.

A pre-recorded message purporting to be from HMRC to inform me that they are bringing court proceedings against me for tax frauds. I killed the call at that point but I am sure...
2 phone calls within an hour, no message left. Think it could be a scam, but I won't answer to find out, just going to block it unless others say this is am ok number
Definitely weird! I have missed calls all the time from this number and another they call constantly. Left one strange answer phone message. Looking at others comments seems to be people praying on customers of car phone warehouse who are due an upgrade. Which I am but haven t yet. Just ignore/block and go to the store to be sure n safe.

How do BT allow such a number to be allocated for fraudulent purposes. Why does barclaycard not find out who these scammers are and with whatever part of government that can, prosecute the offenders?
