SCAM. Chancers trying to find out if you have debts and then get angry when you won't give them sensitive information. At first the woman sounded courteous and sweet but then she soon turned nasty.

SCAM Said he was from Sky Protect. New my cover was about to expire, my name and postcode. Wanted to give my a discount. I already had a letter about my renewal, so it must have been a scam. He didn't know my policy number. Said I would get a new policy number. Phoned Sky Protect direct. They new nothing about it.

This number called and said they had evidence there had been fraudulent activity on our broadband - may have said they were from BT, but my elderly dad took the call initially and is now worried about this. Been getting a lot of these calls recently, they seem to come in waves.

Another call from an Asian lady at 6.0pm purporting to be from BT and in conjunction with Virgin Media asking if I was getting nuisance calls. Angrily I told her yes I was getting nuisance calls and hers was one of them as it interfered with my guitar lesson. I then immediately hung up. Are these sad spammer's ever going to stop harassing us or are our telecom experts going shut them down.
