Unsolicited call about an 'accident' I'd been in. Caller said they are based outside Dundee but use internet to call people hence calling from an Edinburgh number.
I got about £26 of charges stacked up because I ignored the messages as they seemed like spam until I saw my phone bill... Then rang EE but they apparently can't give me a refund, but they at least have stopped more from coming through.. rang the number and they apparently have referred me to another team to get a refund but i dont believe it...
Called saying I was involved in a non fault car accident. I said no but they call every other day .
The man who called addressed me by my correct first name and surname, and claimed he wanted to discuss the (fictitious) road accident I was supposedly involved in "recently." He hung up when pressed for specific details.

Just took a call from this number - they asked for me by name and then said I had recently entered a competition and thats how they got my number and they wanted to save me money on my power supplier - I politely explained I wasnt the bill payer and wasn t interested. The guy then demanded to speak to the bill payer - I told him they are not available and not interested. He then went on a rant at me - at which point I hung up and blocked the number. This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. I had a few missed calls from this one, probably some call centre robocaller testing my number? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Similar numbers are reported with telemarketing, compensation claims.

Wanted to know about my accident but had no information regarding this presumed accident. Redialing the number, it is unobtainable. Woman got very defensive and aggressive when a report to TPS (Telephone Preference Service). She did agree claims were liable to reduction for commission. Thetford number with northern accent. I AM complaining to TPS and anyone accepting complaints about deceptive worrying cold calling.
