Why are the elderly and vulnerable subjected to these scam callers. Why are they allowed to operate? is it because our corrupt government receive payback bonuses for allowing them to operate?
SCAM had a call from this number by a woman claiming to be from O2. Offering a discount on all 02 contracts. I asked what name she had on the file and told me that she didn't have a name that it was a general call to all 02 customers for this great offer of 50% off the contract. I told that you don't work for 02, if you did you would know my full name and customer account number, with this she groaned and hung up.

This person claimed to be my child who had smashed their phone and wanted me to WhatsApp this number, which I didn’t do. They said they had called from a friend’s phone 07599569709 which was about to die. This is terrible preying on parents. I don’t know what would have happened if I clicked on the number. A scam caller called Crypto-something-or-other. Offered me 50 dollars of Bitcoin in exchange for attending some seminar; no doubt the scam is that they try to sell you more junk cryptocurrency. Nobody really transfers Bitcoin in increments as low as $50 because the fees are so high. They knew my first name somehow and ignored the TPS Do Not Call list.

Strongly suspected scam call from "bank" which was unnamed saying unauthorised transactions had been taken against my card.
this number has used to phone my landline number several times over the past few months. it is automatically blocked by my phone system but today i decided to phone the number from my mobile phone. the number did not engage and dropped out almost immmediately.
