SCAM Called about 14.30, 19/11/2021. Male said our house is on the NG Register & he was calling re: our loft insulation. I had to interrupt forcibly to ask, "What is the NG Register?" He said It's a Government Register about your insulation. [I can't find that Register on-line] He assured me that there was nothing for me to worry about. Not expecting a call from a broadband provider haven t given my number to anyone regarding broadband or phone, this man saying they are EE. Although polite enough, I was polite on BOTH occasions they called, 2.30pm and 19.33. This is a company called www.ppiclaimine.com. They have a freephone number 0800 0783542 which took me an age to track down. The person who has been harassing me for 2-years now is well spoken but with a potty mouth when challenged. Please keep on calling this number (it s free and you have nothing to lose). Another automated call from 'Amazon' about 2 payments from my account... a phishing scam, yet again.
SCAM / SPAM Missed the call, so called them back a minute later. Got a recorded message congratulating me on installing the Asterisk open source pbx, which is some kind of VOIP service for LINUX. Don't think my regular BT landline will know how that works...
