Keep getting 0843 numbers calling with robot messages. After some research I have gone on TPSonline.org where you can opt out of getting marketing calls, legally they cannot call you anymore. Why is this not more widely known I ask myself?

Received a call from a female. Stated Pension Review Service. Told me my name and address and DOB. Then passed me to a "Manager" and stated that a signing agent would come to my address. I agreed a time for them to attend so I could check them out. Obviously they didnt arrive. I checked the Pension Review Service Website which unsurprisingly had this number listed for a company posing as themselves. 15:29 19/7/16. Did not appear to know my name, address or location, as did not refer to any - so just cold call to landline. Claimed to be from BT security and that there was a problem with my router. I asked who are BT? (jut to wind him up) - the answer he gave was the only truth in his call. He wanted me to check and confirm some details on my router. I told him I did not believe what he said, I was not going to give him any information and that I was going to hang up - which I did.
