Freemoments magazine called me, apparently I completed an online survey and a very polite man (although he sounded quite agitated) asked me if I drove and when I answered him, he told me I had been awarded a £20 free fuel voucher for completing the survey. He wanted to send me out a magazine to look through. I would have 14 days to trial the magazine and if I didn t want it, all I had to do was ring them up within the 14 days to cancel. Call tonight claiming to be from the Telephone Preference Service and asking if I received cold calls. A man with an Asian accent on a crackly line in a call centre then informed me that my subscription was about to expire. Clearly a scam so I told him what I thought of him and hing up. The number is not registered - is it not time that the phone companues filtered calls from unregistered numbers to stop this sort of abuse as it is untraceable.

Just keep ringing same rubbish hung up on me today. Phoned them back wouldn t speak to me but expect us to speak to them.
