Randomly messaged me on Whatsapp, entirely in Chinese. Says he messaged me by mistake. Claimed to be a 39 year old man named Nick who works in import and travels between the UK, US and Hongkong. Not sure why he continued the conversation but I told him there's no reason to strike up a conversation with a mistaken number.

Man calling about a medical pendant. May have been harmless but he was very evasive when I asked where he got my phone number (we're not on any lists and don't get cold-called much). He seemed to be reading from a script and looking up the answers, as there were long gaps between my asking a question and his reply. I told him I was going to hang up and did so.
SCAM!!! John from the "Medical Alert Centre" called telling me I have been flagged up as qualifying for a free medical alert pendant. He then asked, "Are you over the age of..." seemed to think for a while and then decided on 50. I am a decade younger than this so I just said, "No." which seemed to confuse him and he said, "Right." This was a call from refund on a BitCoin account I had 5 years ago, that I never traded with and closed down within weeks of opening. The chap couldn't give me any background or was willing to listen to what I had to say. I made it evident that I wasn't comfortable about going on my computer to access an account and he got rather aggressive in his tone. I said I wasn't happy with his tone and he turned it on me. In the end he was very rude and put the phone down on me.

They called, but did not respond when corrected to the phone system filter prompts, apparently a fraudster with no honest story to tell the phone system.

07530836343 rang saying calling from my bank, I have two accounts and they did not say which, also rang on my landline which I rarely use. Told me there was suspect dealings and started asking questions. I don't think my bank would ring me from a mobile so I hung up.

BT is not my ISP, but call using a local Derby number told me that BT is the parent company of all Interned and Broadband services, not true! Trying to force me to check my speed when I can check it through my own ISP. Wouldn't take no for an answer, told him I am going to call BBC Scammers and he hung up.
