Got a call from this number saying that I had successful PPI claim on a credit card and they needed UKASH voucher for their 10% commission - although I had never paid PPI on that card. A quick google check showed another cost trap with very similar number (02032864182) with almost identical MO. I shall therefore most definitely NOT be giving them any UKASH code, nor any other detail. Hopefully I can help protect potential victims.

The scheme that it refers to is " It will be the LA’s responsibility to make sure the criteria chosen allow them to identify eligible households. The criteria used by an LA will not be audited however Ofgem will check whether the SoI includes a section describing the methodology to be used in identifying eligible households. BEIS will review SoIs to evaluate the success of the scheme in targeting eligible households, and can provide some basic guidance

Direct Business Solutions (DBS). Called several times but don t seem to know about previous calls they have made. Perfectly polite but it s another sales call. Trying to get the best deal etc etc. Told them I wouldn t be using a broker once contract end with supplier but didn t stop them trying. Quite annoying. Have now blocked their number.

Much like the other reviews, my 83 year old Grandmother was called and told the warranty on her boiler had run out and that they needed to take payment to renew it. No explanation of who they were etc. Reported it as fraud to her bank but also called to cancel policy and ask for full refund. Worried now that this may not be honoured after reading other posts. Awful, underhand, dishonest sales tactics. Bet they re laughing all the way to the bank.
