Claimed to be from Sky, I don't have sky so I spent a lot of time asking if they were going to supply me with Sky so that I could take advantage of their services & I insisted that it had to be supplied free. The oriental sounding lady really didn't get it. Eventually she asked if I had Sky & I replied that since she was from Sky I must have or she wouldn't be calling, but just now I couldn't remember what I'd done with it. She gave up.

Call center. Had half a dozen or so calls from similar numbers. Callers say they just need to ask a couple of questions for a survey. They usually mutter the company name although heard "family" mentioned. Have asked each time for my number to be removed from call list. My father had a call from this number. Stupid enough that they asked him for his bank details... well, he told them all. Noticing too late, that this might be scam. They said they would call him back the other day, but we never heard of them before. I don t know what to do now. Will have a closer look at his account then... bulls+++t

I had a guarded conversation with the caller who, as mentioned above, was calling on behalf of the RSPCA. Apparently he wanted to confirm details for Gift Aid purposes, which raised suspicion in my mind as there are always boxes to tick when completing donation forms for any charity. He did have my name and postcode already and was very polite, but clearly working from a script. I have not ever donated by text.
This is a solar energy firm (Solar World or My Planet) trying to sell panels.
