Male, didn t give name just company called me this morning to say my computer license would run out tomorrow unless I renewed it. I hung up and did 1471 to r8ng straight back - number doesn t acceptake calls. Do not give any details or pay Money this is a scaman.

This company called me today - Thursday 20th July 2017. It s some automated robotic voice system, asking whever I ve been involved in a car accident recently. I repeatedly asked who is this and the call was aventually disconnected.
They asked about a car accident that want my fault. I asked where they got my number from and he gave me some nonsense about the rta department . Which obviously doesn t exist. Then the man seemed annoyed with me and hung up. I never did find out how he got my number.
Cold calling for accident claims, accurate information on name / car / address, but no real details, data likely coming from insurance quote sites.

This number rang on 09/03/23. When I answered, the call just ended. This number rang again on 10/03/23. The caller had a South Asian accent, knew my name and enquired about the car accident I'd had. I responded that this would be the car accident I hadn't had and told him to stop wasting my time. There was a fairly insincere 'apology' that he'd been given the incorrect details.

Black Apples....Rotten apples is more like it....I didn t realize people in the UK were getting spammed by india staffing companies as well...Its a serious epidemic in the US these days...I ve got a list a mile long of india staffing companies that are aggressive as hell cold calling and lining people up with fake jobs that they cut you as fast as possible and underpay you as low as possible.... personally, i think its all tied with some type of india visa fraud... One of the most annoying cold callers going. Will not stop calling me despite being told on several occasions that im not interested.
They called me repeatedly and at some point i just answered and although I didn t really understood what they wanted, they started asking for my personal information. At that point I clearly told them that I m not gonna reveal any of it. They hung up. Better for them

Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference

This is Clearanswer call centre Hull, orange have an external contract with them so realisticly they are working on behalf of orange. Its not a scam the promotions are genuine. Basically they do work for orange to help them out. I believe they also have a contract with Talk Talk. They ask if you have a mobile as you could change it at anytime. It counts as a 5 pound discount code but it has to be registered in your name and adress - so if it doesn t show by law they have to ask! Yes the persistant calls are

Indian/Pakistani accent very poor English woman said she was from IT Maintenance telling me my computer is downloading multiple programmes due to a virus and they had been following activity on my computer I didn t trust her one bit and she was pushing for me to open my computer and let her take me through things step by step to clear things up

Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!
