I had a few calls from the number in question. The person sounds like Turkish and lots of background noise sounds like a call centre.
Received a call today from National Appliance Cover saying I had policy with them, taken out on their Join now pay later scheme. I have never agreed to having washing machine cover so know nothing of the policy. The caller said she was a policy advisor, I am eligible for a discount as I haven't made a claim. It is now to make payment - at the discounted amount, set up direct debit - not discounted, or cancel and pay a cancellation fee. I have never wanted the cover so why should I pay to cancel.

Called my business claiming to be a Google partner, spoke a load of rubbish about our website and then passed me on to someone else when I asked what exactly it was they were selling. Claimed not to be selling anything but was clearly a sales call. Very thick accents made them very hard to understand, hung up on them after I realised I wasn t going to get a straight answer.

TPS will do nothing as UClaim4Me insist that they received my invitation to call and in any case are only "advising" us of a "service" they offer. Dialing 1471 gives this number 0161 752 0020. I have not contacted this number nor will I, this is quite obviusly a scam of some sort.
