Txt message saying from British gas asking for meter reads. Not sure if it's a scam but safer to log onto your British gas account and submit your meter reads there. Normally companies like this would not use a mobile number and it would show as British gas and not the actual number

My policy is this - I never answer calls from private or with held numbers, and if a number shows up, but is not listed on my phone I still won`t answer the caller. My phone is for my use, not others to maybe scam call me.

Automated call - Didn't answer, then got a 5s voicemail of a Liverpool accent (phone had auto-identified dialling code as Liverpool) saying "ah right, OK, well we'll take you off our list then".
