Scam number trying to get details from people after sending a fraudulent PayPal money request. They get your phone number at least which they can connect to the phone number you call them on and your name which enables them to clone your identity.
Called asking questions about my phone on a very bad line; didn't say who they are, just straight into nosey questions.. I told them to get some proper phones themselves and hung up.
UPDATE FROM CHEAP WEB DESIGN: Unfortunately we continue to be hounded by scammers which is resulting in thousands of people calling us back to see why they were called (we're only a team of 8 so have had to disable our phones and put a pre-recorded message). Received a call from this number today for purporting to be Bank Security ...then advising that a card of mine had been used for a £300 payment to Amazon; and then another payment of £1,000 etc etc. Not possible.
