Called once and then hung up. This has happened with several numbers. Being aware of this scam, I always look up such numbers before doing anything else.After reading here, most definitely BlOCKED!
Probably telemarketing, but I couldn't understand them properly but I got the gist that I was going to be asked personal information. I never give that information when it is an unsolicited call.

This call centre deals with PPI claims, insurance marketing, financial services. Mostly nuisance unsolicited calls.
Obviously a scam as no message left. Time something was done about this as I get these type of calls on a daily basis
Text says "...been trying to contact me re my PPI claim..." but I have NOT made any - scam/phishing??
This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Similar number is used by the Bauer Media company.

Surveillance agency, paid to do the criminal job of cold calling people, just to geolocate them. They call you and keep silent. Geolocation is a crime, and that is today's way to do it.

Indian man rang me at about 10:30am 26/7/2021 saying that they'd just been upgrading my Broadband and noticed spam being sent to me and hacker activity. Wanted me to turn on my computer. I put the phone down. Have fallen for one of these scams before with someone getting me to download AnyDesk in order for the caller to remotely take over control of my laptop. BEWARE!!
We get calls from them every couple of months - typically one to my landline (silence and then the person hangs up) followed by an immediate call to my mobile (which I rarely answer). Everest does good-quality work, and has good after-sales service, but after using them once it s very hard to be taken off their telemarketing lists.
