Received a call from this 020 37270486, there was an automated message stating that the call is from HMRC and there was a fraud case linked to my name and if I didn’t press 1 to speak to an advisor I’d immediately go to jail. I then got connected to an advisor with non british accent that asked me my name, I was busy looking the number up online so told the person to hold the line and he hung up immediately. Fraud Left a voicemail saying it's HMRC about a lawsuit, to call them back or have my soliciter get in touch or prepair to face the consequesnces. Blatently using a chopped-together recording. HMRC would always try to contact by post, not phone.

HMRC scam saying i would be arrested if i did not ring back.
Called this number back & she claimed to be from HMRC who apparently have served me with two warrants around miscalculation of Tax. They apparently called at my home on two occasions during lockdown when I was home and not allowed to leave me house. She was very plausible, giving me a name, badge number and warrant ref numbers. Considering I am employed and my tax is paid via PAYE I asked her questions as to who my employer was and this completely threw her. I asked her other questions which she sho
