I have received several calls to my mobile from this number recently. If I don t answer the phone, they don t leave a message and when I do answer it the caller appears to hang up. I am wandering if it is SPAM or a wrong number (but surely if the latter they would have left a message for someone else or spoken to me and discovered the error). I ve noticed several Manchester numbers being associated with unwanted calls to EE customers and wonder if this number is also being used by the same people/company.
Answered the phone but nobody seemed to be there then it cut off

I only answered because they have called me repeatedly for over a month. A man first asked for Lucy then when I said hello again he asked for Paul. I called the number from my land line & its possibly a company called something like Turn Signal. When I asked him to repeat the name he asked for my name so I hung up.

unknown caller. when I tried to call back it goes straight to a message on an answering machine, claiming "your call is important to us, stay on the line". so I hung up immediately. now blocked off my phone. do not trust.
Apparently this company supply buildings for mass testing. Could it be associated with Covid testing perhaps? Unable to call it back.
Again one of those calls reporting that you have been involved in a car accident. I don t have a car... It seemed like a recorded message and caller hung up when I twice answered that I don t have a car.

Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. same scammy call My advice is to always do what I do with these scam type calls; 1. use your phone to make a recording of 1 second of silence. (keep this 1 second silence in your ringtone or media folder) 2.Save the recording and call it scamtone or something. 3. then enter the scammy number into your address book as ; scam1, scam2, scam 3 etc. Each one represents a different scammy number that you get over time. 4. finally, associate the 1 second of silence with each scammy number as a ringto
