SCAM. Called just before midday today (25/03/22). A male, southern English, recorded(?) voice on a line that seemed to be breaking up assured me that I was entitled to a free medical alert pendant. Scam! Have nothing to do with anyone calling from this number!

Fraud. I got a recorded message in an American accent saying that a criminal case has been filed against me for tax evasion. I think I am probably stupid enough to accept this and panic, but I don't believe it and burst out laughing. I think the accent tipped me of 'cause the patter was quite believable(NOT!).

This number called me today. I called back and the agent who is also the voicemail voice for ‘Mortgages London’ asking ‘Hi, is this Leah?’. I’m a man. They then called back, and when they heard my voice said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. Disgraceful spamming people when they are at work.
Tried to sell me loft insulation, told he I ve got recently on a grant. Then went onto cavity wall insulation,, can t have that done, not got proper cavity walls. Then tried to sell me external cladding insulation. Told her to sod off and I would be reporting the call as a nuisance. She then went on to try and sell me a new gas boiler.

I have managed to confirm that calls from this number are from a company debt management company called Stephenson Drake (www.stevensondrake.com. They operate by automated cold calling your number. You will either hear silence or a message asking if you are having problems with debt. I ve been called by this number, and very similar numbers such as 061613806131, frequently for the last few weeks. No voicemails left. When calling back it says "Ant Marketing". I ve blocked them now.
