I think it is a sub-contracted call centre (why it might sound disingenuous?) of sales people for Sky broadband or agents on commission from Sky. This number called my landline this morning but was left unanswered. I’ve just attempted to call back using another phone but got no reply. Since only a few trusted friends call my landline though, I do get plenty of junk/spam calls, I suspect this caller was one of the latter

Indian accent claiming to be EE running a promotion. He ask for some pretty personal information. Name, address etc things EE should already have on file. Did not know the branch he was working from and was pretty adamant to get card info to enroll for the so called promotion but I had already picked up that it was a scam so no information was provided.
