This number called several times but left no message. As it was a local number I called back. It went straight to a recorded message & said I had been called by the NHS & would call back within 24 hrs. This is not an NHS number! My family are not under any hospitals or GPs for anything at this moment or indeed in several years. Other sites have this number reported as being untrustworthy.

Capital Markets. Called 3 times in 3 days even though I tell them I do not trade. If they have your number you will probably be getting calls from similar companies.

Missed call. Seems like a premium rate number. No-one should call back. My daughters friend has called back to similar number and has had texts costing HER up to £3 a time several times a day! Her phone bill was over £100.

I answered with a Hello, just got silent treatment before they hung up.

called my 84 year old mother today mentioning landlines and HSBC. She's been made very aware of scams so he didn't get anywhere, but hasn't come up in any scam searches so a miniscule chance it could have been legit. Won't put money on that though

I misses this call as my phone was off but a quick Internet search told me this was an Indian scam call centre pretending to be in London, with an outside London area code. This number can be purchased for roughly ?3. Do not answer it is a scam.

Missed this call from Direct Line, will be renewing in the next few days, guess I will have to call them now. Been with them several years, very happy with them.

If you do answer the nuisance calls and it’s NOT an automated message, be polite to the agent, talk to him/her. Remember they are on commission, so waste their time. State you are interested in their SCAM products. Give them false info. If you can arrange a rep to visit, do it at a local café and don’t turn up. I think you get the idea. This is probably where lying would be acceptable even if it’s not in your nature.
