Called me today, knew my name. Started telling me that I was in debt and that they have a scheme blah blah blah, rambled on for ages and the finally asked if it was something I was interested in. SCAM / SPAM Automated number called saying “there’s a HMRC fraud investigation going on and to press 1 to be connected to the agent dealing with the case. If you don’t press 1 immediately, an warrant will be issued immediately and you will be arrested shortly” HMRC doesn’t call like that, they will write to you if they need something. Don’t fall for it. Avoid it.

Called asking about previous credit cards in last 15 years. I told them I couldn t remember which I had from a few they suggested. They kept asking the same questions which I said I couldn t remember. They went on to ask about any loans which I said I don t remember, she said ok and hung up!
