Call came in as "Washington Call" no one on the line when I answered. Getting a lot of these calls from various numbers. I block them all.

They asked me to verify my details and then rattled off some speech about how i may be contacted by someone in the future. I said no to this and she just repeated the statement. Pretending to be from some insurance company about compensation for 'minor accident' I allegedly had some time ago. When I said she's lying trying to steal some data from me she immediately hanged up.
SCAM trying to say you've been involved in criminal tax fraud and a criminal court case was imminent. It was an automated voice. They want you to press 1 for more info. They didn't even say the name of their organisation. Complete scam.

After dozens of missed calls from this number - I never answer a number I do not recognise - I rang back the 0207 number and got a recorded message with another number to call to unsubscribe - 0207 619 7888. You need to quote the number they ve called you on and tell them it s Shelter, as they re obviously a telemarketing company with a number of clients. I donated to Shelter by text and since then have been plagued by these calls at all hours. Waiting to see if they re as good as their word...
