SCAM!! SCAM!! SCAM!! PRETEND TO BE FROM YOUR ENERGY COMPANY WITH YOUR ADDRESS AND NAME!! Then say they need a number from your INVOICE!! THIS IS TO SWITCH YOU OVER AND TAKE YOUR MONEY!! I asked to speak to management and the name of manager made up a random name. I said that person does not work in your department- they got angry told me I was being cut off and hung up!! Rang my original provider theu said it was a common scam!!

SCAM. Received an automated call claiming my National Insurance Number was suspended. I knew immediately this was an fraudulent call and blocked this number.

Another call from a scammer telling me he is from Virgin Media and the reason for his call is because I am having problems with my broadband he claims that it is running slow and that's why he is calling me today so he tells me to press the windows flag key and the letter R which brings up the run box as in the first picture then he tells me to type in eventvwr in the run box then press the OK BUTTON on the Run box which then brings up the Administrative events as in picture 2 then he tells me to highlight

Like the previous person who reported this number, I also received a text message with the same message. Firstly, I am not expecting a parcel. Second, I too am always in. SCAM / SPAM - called purporting to be from BT Openreach about slow internet. I do currently have a case pending about slow net, so believed them at first. Got suspicious when they said they needed me to share my screen with them. When I asked them for a phone number to call them back on to check who they were they hung up. BEWARE.
