I called British Gas to check and they confirmed it was a Scam. pretend to have all my details very fishy I am going to report this no as they have my bank details now

This is a scam number for "Electric Yorkshire". avoid at all costs, they overcharge and try to add extra hidden charges. Calling to cancel, they will refuse to and try to scam you out of giving them more money. Luckily I was wise enough to not give them a penny. Report and block their numbers, they don't turn up either.
