Automated call: message warned of possible inland revenue tax fraud on my personal account. Scam!!!

SCAM This called up 3 times yesterday and the 2nd time there was no answer so assuming they are using Sevenoaks numbers too

SPAM Rang saying they were from my electricity supplier. I asked where they got my personal information from, as they knew my name. They said "the system". Asked again, what legal basis they were holding my personal data and where they got it from. They hung up on me.

Several seconds after I answered the call, a man, with Indian accent, told me he was calling from British Telecom about my phone connection. Told him we weren't their customers & I didn't believe him before hanging up on him.

SCAM Claimed to be calling from the "National Debt Advice Service" which doesn't appear to exist. Said they got my number from the Debt Resolution Forum which they described as a "government body". Clearly a scam - AVOID.

SCAM Received a call apparently from O2 asking if my phone service was good. I said it was fine and hung up. Almost immediately after I received a warning from O2 by text: *SECURITY WARNING* The one-time code you requested will arrive shortly. If someone's calling you and asking for a code, please end the call because they DO NOT work for O2. If you suspect fraud, call us on 202 so we can protect your account. Soon after a code came from O2. This suggests the caller was trying to access my account.

Fraud SCAM called about service provided from network I'm not on.

someone rang me on this number saying that i have been doing tax fraud has anyone had teh same on number 02086541048

Well, they phoned earlier and a recorded message informed me, that it was my banks security department, which it obviously wasn't, the number trace showed a call the Russian Federation, RED FLAG. She said, Somebody has accesed your account and made a £600 purchase fron Amazon and a £2,000 transfer to an international account, RED FLAG I politely told her to stop trying t scam people and she immediately hang up, basically, our phone providers should block these calls, as we are paying to receive them!

Calls from 01733 249306 plays recorded message stating debit card has been charged with £900 and to press button to cancel this payment

They said they were Openreach for internet I did not believe them hung up !

Just messaged about insufficient funds on my PayPal account and to click a link. I don't even have PayPal ????

SCAM Call starts with an automated message telling you that there is an arrest warrant out for you for underpaid tax and tax fraud. Continued the call to confront whoever initiated the call, and it follows through to an Indian call centre purporting to be HMRC. Do not give any details to these scammers!
