Accident claim scam. I m registered for the Telephone Preference Service and yet they still called, so they re acting illegally.

Got a call from a "With-held" number, then minutes later got a call from the same company on this number saying "You have been selected to receive a discount..." I didn t let them get any further. These types of sales tactics are the lowest of the low methods of marketing and sales especially as my telephone number is registered with telephone preference!

Received call from busy overseas call centre claiming to be BT. When I pointed out that yesterdays call was reported as a fraud to the police she hung up. Yesterdays call exactly same script but from 01724956685 they are hacking into or falsely generating a UK number. It is the role of BT to put a stop to this nonsense?

I had a Call earlier and no-one spoke so I hung up then added them to the Voicemail List on my Phone, but then they managed to Call again! Maybe my Phone can t take so many contacts which go to Voicemail, and I don t use Voicemail.

I don't understand these numbers at all. There are two many for a normal STD followed by the number, but oversears calls have a different coding, so what is this?

This number is Humberside police command centre

On checking with O2 the above number and caller WAS a genuine call from O2. Apologies O2.

I have been called by this number a few times and it s so annoying don t know who they are

I have not had a motor vehicle for 5 years, when told this they still want to proceed with a claim. I told them I would not help them in making a fraud claim. they wouldnt even tell me where and when this accident location was
