SCAM I think this phone number is from scammers pretending to be Virgin Media checking your Wi-Fi strength
Seems like a new scam number just called me offering me a discount on my existing T-Mobile contract and when I said I knew they were talking rubbish and must be a scam as I don't have T-Mobile. Guess what they put the phone down, but not before asking me to confirm my details which of course I didn't do.
SCAM: claiming HMRC are threatening immediate arrest. NOT the way HMRC contacts people.

Fraud. Said they were from Sky Tech support calling about broadband problems and wanted me to access my a/c online. Told him to call back next day. I then checked with Sky that it was a fraudulent caller, Now looking forward to tomorrows call!

I have not answered to these people. Not once. Yet, they call at least weekly. I ve got a years line rental with BT paid for up-front, which allows me to block 99% of unwanted calls (with a BT blocker phone purchased separately, in case anyone was wondering). This caller would likely be asking to speak with Mr Strevitt or Mr Gwendoline. As has been the nature of the calls for the past 3 years. Called regarding a shares account, tried to convince us to allow access to our computer. Refused shared access and she agreed to send the web address to access the account, tried to convince us by sending another $350 we could withdraw our account balance of $700 Absolute scam.
