This is a Cerebra number. They’re a children’s charity based in Carmarthen that fundraise to support children living with brain conditions and their families. Donations go towards making bespoke products and providing sensory toys to help children learn and play. They also fund research and offer guidance to parents and carers.
On answering the call the caller said my electricity account was due to expire. It is not, in fact it has another 12 months to run from February 2023. The caller spoke with an accent. Due to this the call was ended.
Scammer called 07462568137 Scammer. Pretending to be from EE. tried to offer something for sale, but I hung up before he could continue.
Recorded message told me I had ordered something from Amazon for £300 and to press 1 to speak to Amazon customer service if I hadn't. I didn't press 1

Well, nobody has been trying to call me when I was at home, and as I check my phone whenever I've been out, then I know for sure that it's nonsense so I just hung up. We recently cancelled insurance with Domestic and General, so wondering if they have sold on our details. Caller told me they were from visa and someone was trying to use my card for something costing over £900. It said I should press 1 to cancel or 2 to go ahead. Its obviously nothing to do with Visa so I pressed nothing and hung up the call immediately.
