This number rang today but hung up part way through the answerphone message. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I rang and asked for our number to be removed from their database. The guy I spoke to was happy to do this and also happy to tell me that the third party from whom they receive numbers is Communications Avenue. Looks like these are the people we should really be shutting down. A quick Googke shows that they re based in Newark.

ROGUE call!!!
Quite clearly an Ambulance Chaser allegedly from National Accident Investigation saying that I had an accident which was not my fault. Where do they get their information and why is it that the Information Commissions Office does not stamp out these nuisance calls. The caller would not take no for an answer until I swore and shouted down the phone when he hung up.

Didn't answer them, they left no voicemail. I've been applying for loads of jobs recently so I assume it's either a call centre regarding that, or my numbers been sold on. Indian caller said he was from the Department of Health and asked to speak to a certain person when told it was the wrong person he confirmed the number and asked who he was speaking to as I was suspicious of a scam it told him it didn’t matter as I was not the person he wanted then hung up

Noone has my mobile number, and it nevers rings but today it did after i did apply for a new PAYG Sim Card for free from what i thought was genuine o2 web page advertising. If they are genuine and it s a courtesy call then fine, otherwise these could be scamartists trying to confirm your details by tricking you into surrending them online thinking its for a free sim card and cloning o2 s advertising website style. No message, I put the phone down straight away because I get a lot of cold calls even though BT are supposed to stop them.
Scam, left a voicemail saying if I need to press one to get connected to hmrc because I have tax fraud in my name and if I don't ASAP I'll have a warrant out for my arrest. This isn't something hmrc threaten you with over voicemail.

Received a call from Smart Media advising our business had paid for their services to list on Google Maps in July 2019. Complete bull as payment has never been made to this company (or anything similar), the date simply is when our business was incorporated so freely available information.
