recorded womans voice saying that due to illegal activity my internet connection would be cut off in 24 hours and saying to press 1 to speak to their chief executive, which of course I did not. second call in less that an hour. There has not been any illegal activity on my internet connection and I am certain if there had been then my internet provider would have contacted me directly.

this number rings us daily, every time you answer theres silence then a loud "BEEAAARR" sound and the line goes dead. we are in dorking and 01306 is our local code, presume some spammer/scammer/marketer spoofing the number, or calling from a VOIP number, hoping we d be more likely to answer a local code call. I found out this number belongs to OXFORD COUNTY TELEPHONE & TELEGRAPH CO landline from Sumner, ME They have been calling me for a week now.

Just received a call from this number on my mobile. I answered and said "Hello?" whereupon the call was immediately disconnected.
