Tom from Connect wanted to speak to business owner said he wasn t here can I help. No I will call back later. Asked if he was a wholesaler. He disconnected the call . Needless to say when he rings again, I will be blowing a loud whistle in his ear.

Someone who knew our names and said they are calling about something happening at Hampton court palace.

Been a rash of these lately from different numbers. They ring and when you don t answer they send a text message from the number to say you missed a call from that number. Designed to appear as a normal phone notification, it s actually a text message from the caller. Far too dodgy to bother with. Suspect some kind of premium rate scam. Blocked obvs.

+1 (527) 406-370 These guys are obviously stepping up their dodgyness as I recieved a missed call from this number saying it was from the states. But after listening to the voicemail they left I found it was this company who gave a call back number or 01527 419 162 regarding Scottish power. Very fishy sounding to me and glad I read these posts before thinking of calling back!

Phoned our landline at 10am on 22.03.23. I didn't recognise the number (no one I knew) and so I let the answer machine take it. The caller didn't leave a message.

This is different from CRUK (Cancer Research UK). Its Worldwide Cancer Research and they want donations. They keep calling once or a few times a day sometimes.

Started as a silent call but picked up by "Danielle" with a Scottish accent. Offered to advise on how to reduce energy costs. Rang off when I started to ask questions about who they were. When I called the number back a recording said it was changed to 118196, a directory inquiries service run by Vox Clarity. Clearly a telemarketer after selling insulation etc

Called repeatedly. Hung up upon answering.

This number just keeps on calling. Nobody there when you answer it phone hangs up. I guess they are just trying to find out when you are available to answer the phone and then letting companies know. BLOCK IT.
