Had 2 silent calls from this number today and 1 yesterday. I have blocked the number to prevent further annoyance.
Cold caller rang saying he had been looking for me for ages as he had news about compensation from a factory I had worked at. I was suspicious and ended the call.

Call center, sounds like the guy was from Africa. Denies trying to sell me something, wants to ask questions about online investment. Doesn't hang up for most of the usual tactics, but gets abusive. Fun to play with, though, if you have the time.
Tried calling claiming to be working for the blockchain asking about recent investments - this is impossible as 'block chain' is a technology and not a company. Stay away - scam

A man with a very strong accent (difficult to understand) spoke about iPhones. I asked where he got my number from and he said 'from your provider, Vodaphone'. I'm not with Vodaphone so I told him that's untrue and he must be lying. He then proceeded to call me a liar - twice! Bizarre phone call. Potentially trying to gain personal data. Blocked.

Safe number Is actually an Indian guy calling who refers you to O2 who sign you up for their Sim Only deal. Shame they have a dodgy-sounding Indian guy getting them customers, because it makes O2 look dodgy. FYI: I have received all genuine emails and contract info from O2 and... I received my SIM! 100% legit (apart from the guy calling millions of numbers from India hoping to get someone to say yes so he can earn his referral commission from O2!).
