We have received over the last four days a lot of calls. Muffled answer message saying hrmc please can you or your solicitor return our call immediately. Googled the number and it is a scam. Did not call the number as usually they would send you a letter.

Keep getting calls every day off this and other numbers, when I put it into Google, it comes up with vanquis debt collection, I pay my minimum payment and more every month and have no idea why there calling from debt collection, if they shut down in the next two years I would be pleased as I didn t know the hassle I would get by joining with them! Multiple automated calls to my ex-directory, TPS-registered number.
Said he was calling from my household insurance company, which was a lie because I am with Domestic and General. He kept trying to say it was an adjustment to my payment method. When I let on I was with Domestic & General he rudely hung up without another word. I am registered with TPS so this is a real nuisance to keep getting calls like this.
