Recorded message claiming that my order from Amazon had been processed and that several hundred pounds had been charged to my card. Also claimed that if I had not made the order to press 1 to speak to customer services. Obviousl a scam so I hung up. DO NOT PRESS 1.
The call was in relation to a card payment. The call seems fradulant as the card type mentioned was visa and this was wrong.

Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.

This is a scam. Told I owed money ($4000) form a credit card I had from 2010 to 2016. Would not give me proof of the debt. I never had a credit card during that time period. Said they are going to try to take $8400 from my bank account by serving papers to the county clerk that is in my county. I spoke to a couple of attorneys which said it sounds like a scam. they called me twice no caller id claiming to know the last four digits of my card, part of my address (which was wrong) and saying i made a transaction on the weekend which i did not, they sent me a code and it said to add my card to their apple pay, so obviously they were trying to take my credit card details and commit fraud on my account, they kept saying im verified my identity they then went silent when i said ill call my bank, called bank and they said yep my account is secure and that was a phising.
