He said he wanted to run through some security checks with me at which I said that I was not prepared to give any personal information on a "cold call" because, I told him, I was very suspicious. This number called me this morning, saying they were from uk benefit department..the person had a foreign accent, telling me that I had life insurance and would I confirm..i hun...

this number has been calling me several times per day for around 2 weeks, when I answered it was a telemarketing company telling me I had been involved in an accident (I haven t) when I responded with "well you know more about this than I do" the caller hung up and didn t call again so I will definitely be using that tactic in the future

Called and an automated but very convincing message said she was calling because I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault (I haven t). The script is timed to coincide with your answer, most likely a phishing or other scam to get personal details.

Pre-recorded PPI claim message. I get these daily from 0843 numbers but they ve now started phoning me on local area code numbers as well! I can t ignore the calls as they come through to my work phone. I ve registered with TPS and it s made no difference! Ignore and don t call back.

Called several times by this number, as soon as I pick up, they hang up. Not sure if I want to call back, as for me it is an unknown international number.

Claims to have road traffic accident compansation ready to be sent. Had my address, name, I was the transfered to his manager to complete if formation. Which I thought they'd already had. But best thing is I didn't start the claim. They were fishing for more my personal details. When I asked why can't you post it they put the fone down.

Just had a call from this number too saying that I have been in a minor accident, no accident has happened, dodgy caller.
