This call came about half an hour after the last, and was easily recognisable because of the usual crackling. I bellowed "Hello" loudly enough to burst the caller s eardrums, and that put an end to it. The number used by these criminals, who want me to allow them to infect my computer, was as fictitious as the previous one had been.
Morethan keep calling me regarding pet insurance. I got a quotation from their website a couple of weeks ago, which was double everyone elses prices. Got the first call the following day, told the woman they were way too dear and that I wasn t interested. They now call at least once a day. They must be stupid or desperate for business. This is the 5th call of this type today - all from different numbers. Answered the call - no one speaks.
Clearly this is a nuisance and most certainly is unsolicited. Whilst the number appears to be a Manchester number clearly it is not. An elderly family member had a call from this number and in no way could understand the Asian caller. It is probably a fake number. When they ask if I have been in an accident recently my usual answer is to say "You tell me you seem to know". To the contributor who asked what 00 means in front of the number it is simply the first 2 digits you would dial when calling
