Reports elsewhere suggest it s the tired old "home appliance insurance" scam.

It is obvious that the firm making these calls is also manipulating this forum. Both are equally shite. In my case they have a pretend-itslocal pseudo number. Jail for you soon. Not soon enough.

They ve called a couple of times now ...always asking for Paul Mulligan. Have told then i don t know anyone of that name. Seem polite enough though and calling from Scotland

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING EVERYDAY FOR THE PAST TWO WEEKS, I HAVE NOT ANSWERED THIS, MY ANSWERPHONE AUTOMATICALLY ANSWERS ON THE SEVENTH RING AND THIS NUMBER ENDS CALL ON SIXTH RING EACH TIME..THIS CAN BE OF NO USE ONLY TO ANNOY YOU! A "UK Consumers Survey" call, they have my name, and he just carried on (as if really hates his own job) try to verify my personal information which I ve then stopped him and he simply hanged up.
