Beware Scammer and Hacker! Number used to replace my recovery phone on my Xiaomi account in an attempt to lock me out of my phone. Part of a larger problem where If I hadn't realised what was going on he could have potentially gotten into all my accounts locked me out of them too, then blackmailed me to release them. Seems to be involved in various types of phishing scams, E-mails/Whatsapp/ chatrooms etc. May go by the name of Sam.

Call center - This is one of many similar numbers contacting me on my mobile and stating they are from O2 offering a 40% discount. Possibly a scam but also could be genuine. Unsure so always blocked and reported. Always ask for my number to be flagged to avoid constant calling but hasn't worked so far.

Claimed to be from O2 and that I was overpaying for my O2 account (I don't use O2). Told me they would offer me a discount with no other changes to be made. Wanted to send a verification number that I was not to share with anyone else "even 02 staff". Hung up when they realised I wasn't falling for it - I strung them along for at least a few minutes.
TAXES / HMRC - Auto voice said I was going to be fined and I owe money because of a non payment to HMRC. I hung up.

Funny how over the last week, I have been getting calls from Manchester on my mobile. They alway hangup before it goes to my answer service. This has to be a sales call or fake service that has picked up on my number, otherwise they would leave a message for me to get back to them.

Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. SCAM Received another call from this number today - this time they left a message. Very strong accent and ringing from a call centre so it was difficult to make out. Caller stated they were calling from somewhere which sounded like Yonny (EON something) regarding our energy account. Caller did not specify which type of energy. Caller gave this number as a number to ring back 'as soon as you receive this message'. Ignored and deleted.
