Automated voice messaging informing that £500 for gambling + another amount was taken from my account. I replaced the handset after being instructed to press 1, 2 or 3. Checked my account none the less. It was definitely a scammed call.

The day i was scammed was thesame day i lost my daughter, i was totally destroyed emotionally for 3 month. i didn't have a dime left in my bank besides my credit. all my life savings was cleared from my bank by some investment scammers which i shared my banking details with. the police and the bank only filed a report and closed the case, i was left all alone to suffer it and i can swear it was a living nightmare. A scam and found some group of Tamils are doing this.
Persistently calling the last couple of digits of the number change to like 5176 or 5274 or 5175 etc. They call at antisocial hours eg Sunday mornings etc. I suspect, although I never answer, that they’re some kind of debt collector for councils.

Perhaps looking at some sort of CRM? Can't make up if I accidentally left my data somewhere and ended up in this system? Or my data got to their system another way. It's all quite sketchy. Tried calling back but getting: "this is the voicemail of Norah Jones, I'm on vacation".

This was an automated call about a charge for Amazon Prime membership that had expired. I don't currently have an Amazon Prime membership, so this was almost certainly a scam call.
Claimed to be from credit card fraud department. Automated message saying a charge of over one hundred pounds has been made on my card from Amazon, also a foreign transaction of over one thousand pounds. Asked me to press buttons to authorise or talk to an advisor. Total scam.
