Try’s to tell you there’s a CCJ against you for unpaid fees to an advertising company (community council advertising working in connection with National crime prevention) recons bailiffs will be attending at 9am. Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.

I think it is a sub-contracted call centre (why it might sound disingenuous?) of sales people for Sky broadband or agents on commission from Sky. They did indeed do a realtime broadband speed check on what they could offer compared to Virgin, which shut them down. It was easy then to end the call. Call center

One number out of an influx of numbers calling me and hanging up - scamming Paki bastards in scam call-centres routing their calls through unused UK phone numbers to pretend that they're legitimate companies to try and fish for your personal details and use them for fraud. I wish these filthy Paki bastards would just fuck off and die!

SCAM: A man claiming to from Medical Alert company, offering to sell me a personal alert alarm. A neighbour received the same call, and was taken in, passed on to another person and gave bank card numbers (He has now alerted his bank). This scam is targeting disabled older people who may want an alarm.

SPAM - received call from this number today (02.11.22) - did not leave a message and number is not recognised when call is returned.
This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.

09.40 21-3-23 phone call from 01204363677 from the start female voice very distorted till near the end of short "conversation" fine of £90 was all I could make out and ring back on this number. I assumed it was a scam and terminated the call.
