Myself and my son are on Vodafone network. I have received several calls from this phone number. My son s number is private and only a handful of people have it eg family and close friends. I feel that perhaps there s been an issue with Vodafone because my son NEVER receives calls from anyone he doesn t know. It s different for me cos all of the companies i deal with have my tel number. This is a scam number pretending to be Amazon UK. They pretended that i had mistakenly signed up for 'their' yearly subscription and stated i they were due to take 79.99 out of my account today if i did not cancel immediately. They stated that they could sort this out online and that I may be due a refund. I asked them to call back and contacted Amazon service desk who explained that they had never called me and that i was still subscribed on monthly terms. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR DETAILS.

This number called me asking me to confirm details of an accident that wasn’t my fault I had to ask them them who was calling twice before telling me some name of maybe riverside something or other, I cannot remember I told them I hadn’t been in touch with them and that any reputable company would have introduced themselves and asked for me by name. I asked them to confirm who they thought they were speaking to and they rudely hung up.
