If you stay on the line you'll get directed to someone else who will eventually (after sugar coating this) make you understand you have to attend a meeting (somewhere in London). I have never been, and suspected from this point onwards that this was a timeshare scam. I gave up. The "free" bit was getting up to £1000 off a holiday - but that gets massively discounted if

Claimed to be Carphone warehouse offering an upgrade, told him i didn t have my phone from Carphone warehouse and he said "we are calling on behalf of EE" I hung up and called EE who told me they don t have other companies call about upgrades as they would rather people upgrade through them directly. So, is it Carphone warehouse?..... Maybe. Is it a scam? .......Possibly. Is it dishonest?...... DEFINITELY!
