The call was from a VISA fraud checking unit. However the number was the fax number for a garage in Penkridge, Stafford that closed down some time ago. Clearly scammers have cloned the number.
This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). This number was used to pay a Sean Roberts £4750 from my account. It relates to my-local-depot-uk.com The person called themselves Simon. Sadly for Simon I did not have that amount to pay!!!! Time Simon got a proper job! PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THIS SITE. (I did so due to a series of coincidences - otherwise I hope I would have been a bit more cautious!)

Scam calls usually related to Crypto. They generate new fake spoofed numbers (including this one), and call from UK, China, and other random countries. Previous owner of my phone number must have signed up on their website for information, but they have been calling me for over a year despite me saying its not the right person.
Scam call, called saying they were from amazon and that someone made a purchase with my account of £600 from Nigeria.
This number has rang three times in an hour and half tonight. It cuts off as soon as you answer. I have looked it up on these sort of websites and it either comes up as a parcel force scam or BT text messaging. Either way it is at the height of annoyance as I have blocked it but it keeps getting through. STOP RINGING ME.

02036109310 SCAM I believe, Claimed to be Edward from virgin media about my firewall protection...was very keen to want to send me something on my mobile. He was momentarily interested in sending it to my laptop until I told him it was a work issued laptop. Told him my phone was not internet connected as I found it to distracting and he hung up without a goodbye.I suspect the thought of a work issued laptop put him off as it would have good security and catch the rogue link he wanted to send me?
