I have been called three times in the last 24 hours from this number. no idea who it is or what they want. No message left on the answer machine.
Moron speaking pidgin English pretending to be called Peter from Microsoft. Pathetic.
I've received 2 or 3 calls in the last few days. Don't know anyone in Rotherham so never answer. As a customer, Vodafone contact me by text, so no logic to the call.

SCAM - Claims to be hrmc. Recorded message telling me that I would be prosecuted for some crime. I did press 1 and a person started to asking my bank account sort code.

Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference

I had a email apparently from Meta (Facebook) to say this number (07956836341) had been added to my Facebook account and with a link to report this if it wasn’t me who added the number. The date on the email was wrong (Friday 6th June 2023 doesn’t exist). The link asked for my FB password so I didn’t continue. I checked my FB security details and no number had been added. It looks as though this is a scam to try to access FB passwords.
