SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

SCAM They will send you a message saying they’re the NHS and you’ve been in close contact with someone who has recently tested positive for omicron and should follow the link sent to get a test. Do not follow the link as it will be a scam and try and steal your information etc when you put it in.

man says he received a missed call from me , not true. Second call in two days saying the same thing but from a different number.

It was an automated msg saying I had 2 payments coming out of my bank (but it didn't say which bank) and asked me to press a number to confirm the transaction or a different number to stop the transactions I believe this to be a scam call

Karim called at 14.26. Asked why I'd cancelled my appointment for this evening. Apparently I'd emailed to cancel at 10.47 because my partner has covid. I haven't sent any emails or got any appointments. It must be a scam but I've no idea what he planned to get out of it, maybe if the story fitted my circumstances he'd try to get a cancellation fee off of me. The worrying thing is that he knew my full name. I can't think of any way that could happen.

Fed Ex scam. Haven’t even ordered anything. Picked up for 1 second and it ended, leaving a voicemail in both English and Chinese, saying something about 2 parcels and press different numbers for different enquiries, supposedly so your voicemail service calls them back when you press.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. an asian who spoke so fast that to start with it was impossible to understand and when asked to repeat it but slowly she said she was phoning to alert me that i had to pay another charge on my order. she said if i could give her my bank details amazon will debit it from my account. i have not brought any thing from amazon and i dont have an account with amazon never have and never will . beware of this number because these people are thieves and are not from amazon.
